Zip Parsing

Zip parsing is used to parse the resume's/JD's placed in a zip folder.

The parsed data is saved in the excel sheet that can be migrated into your CRM/ATS as necessary. Follow the below steps for the zip parsing using CandidateZip Resume/Job Parser.

  1. Visit https://www.candidatezip.com/ and click Sign Up For Free to open the https://app.candidatezip.com/SignUp website.
  2. On Sign Up page, enter the First and Last Name and Work Email. Read the Terms of Use, check the checkbox for I'm not a robot, and click Sign Up. If you already have CandidateZip account, click Login for your CandidateZip account.
    Note: You can also sign up using a social account such as Gmail, LinkedIn, or other accounts as necessary.


  3. Once you log in to the CandidateZip, click Zip Parsing to upload the zip folder containing resume/JD.

  4. On the Parsing Via Zip Upload page, select the fields as follows:
    • Zip File: For this field, click browse and upload a zip folder that contains resume/JD for parsing.
      Note: Make sure the name of the zip file is not the same as the old zip file earlier uploaded.
    • Recipient Source: Select either Recipient Emails or Hiring WorkFlow.
      Note:
    • Recipient Emails: For this field, enter the Email ID where you want to get the parsed output.
    • Backup data for: This field is to backup the data, select the number of days from the drop-down as necessary.
    • Type: For this field, select JD or Resume that you are parsing.
    • Existing Files: This section shows the old zip files details. You cannot upload the zip file with the same name as existing file in this table until it gets deleted status.
    • Convert To Excel: Once you uploaded the zip files successfully, click Convert To Excel to convert the parsed output in excel.


  5. On the Recipient Source if you selected Hiring WorkFlow in the above step-4, fill the fields as follows, and click Submit.
    • Zip File: Upload zip folder. Zip folder must contain either resumes or JD's as per the selection in the Type field.
    • Type: Select Resume or JD from the drop-down.
    • Zip Source: Select the workflow you created; refer Hiring Workflow for more details.

  6. Once the zip folder is uploaded, and the parsing request is submitted successfully, a Success pop-up will be displayed. Click Done on the Success pop-up.

  7. Once the zip folder is uploaded, and the parsing request is completed successfully, scroll to the Existing Files section and click Download Excel to download the excel output that contains the parsed output.
    Note: This step is applicable if you selected Recipient Emails in the Recipient Source field at step-4.


Result

Once the zip folder is uploaded, and the parsing request is completed successfully, you will receive an email from the CandidateZip with the subject as Bulk Parsing via Zip Upload result data is ready!. Click to the here link to download the excel sheet that contains parsed output.
